sunday funday

my boyfriend recently purchased a new schwin bicycle and i've been taking it around town when i have spare time. it's been propped up against our wall since the weather has been a bit on the cold side. once i've properly greased the chain i plan to completely take over it. sharing is caring, right?

i took a cue from my earlier post featuring the satorialist shot and threw on some stripes.

springtime cravings

it seems as though this winter has been the longest. it's possible that the torrents of wind and rain that kept on for days weren't helping. i had been stuck inside AND my poor car was flooded.......so i turned to my trusty camera to lighten my spirits.

in an effort to evoke a time of peace, serenity and summertime warmth i paired my favorite vintage jumper with thick american apparel knee highs. the effect was comfortable and surprisingly cozy. i'll bring this bad boy back out when the sun is shining high and only high boots will be upon my legs.

this is vintage dress i bought and cut immediately, accompanied by a vintage fur i purchased on 4th street in long beach at a small boutique named la bomba.
the night was a blur and so there were no pictures from it, these are all thats left from a night hopping from the echo to party to crashing neighbors parties.

What I wore:

I hadn't worn a skirt in what seems like forever so I decided to dig in my closet and reconnect with one that I bought so long ago and never wore. What attracted me to it the first time was really the print and how loud it was. I paired it today with a simple black shirt and booties. Sometimes simplicity is the way to go.

inspirations in winter

collage

cold weather is sprouting ideas of triumph scooters or 1960s bmw motorcycles.... speeding thorough le champs elysees, of the incomparable francoise hardy singing tunes with jane birkin on the floor next to a sturdy bike . this girl seemed to have the idea right.

this is a family operation.

the title of this blog is taken from the beginning and end

of our middle names.

we are two fashion enthusiasts who just happen to be sisters

think of it as if rodarte started a blog. No, maybe we should start off easy....

this is simply a collection of our taste, style and inspirations.

enjoy.
